Hi Everyone,

Have been doing so good with Weight Watchers this week, watching my points

and journaling everything I put in my mouth. Well I really messed up tonight

without a doubt. Went out with friends to Chili's for dinner. They ordered

appetizers and also chips and salsa came. Well had 3 chips with cheese and sour

cream and tom. and lettuce. Then had some chips, salsa queso which was so good.

Then came our dinner, which I ordered Tuna Steak sandwich which I thought

would be a good choice. I actually cut it in half and brought half home and ate

a

few fries. When I got home found out this sandwich was 29.5 points. WOW

didn't believe my eyes. Then my girlfriend and I split dessert, Molten Lava Cake

which was 36 points. Boy what a wake up call when I came home and looked up the

points. Using my points I had left for dinner and the rest of my flex points

which was 31 pts. I am 28 points or more over for the day. Do I have a sick

feeling or what. Actually I do have a sick overfull feeling and it's not good.

Goes to show you sometimes you want to be good and the food just takes over. Not

going to do this again, will plan alot better when going out. Thanks for

listening.

Yes you may have over eaten, but you could still have a loss for next week, just

take your over eaten points and divide them out over the next few days and

subtract them off your point total for the day.

Marge,

Don't be too hard on yourself...it happens to the best of us. Today

is my 10th wedding anniversary and I really had to fight the urge to

celebrate tonight with a huge steak dinner and a high fat dessert.

Social situations ar emy pitfall and I am working hard on trying to

not let food " overtake " me. But, we are not perfect and we all make

mistakes. You feel bad, but all is not lost. You could show a loss,

but more importantly you realized what happened. That is the first

step. Right now I haven't put myself through the social eating " test "

yet, but I know in advance it will be hard for me. Keep striving for

your goal!!
