Guest guest
Heidi, My daughter has these shoes and she was never fussy. Make sure that the yellow part isn't somehow under the foot instead of beside it, check to see that the foot is all the way down and be sure that the tongue has little to no wrinkles. And most of all, check to be sure the bar is set long enough. Her shoulders should fit between the heels of her shoes. Chris first day for sandals-need advise Dear All, I would like to thank everyone who sent me the information for contacting J Mitchel. I did contact him Wednesday 21st by phone immediately after i got the contact information . I gave him the sizes by phone, paid by the internet and he did overshipped them by night. I received the sandals Friday 23rd at the doctor clinic. I was so happy that i will not cast again. Today is the first day for karen in the DBB. she kept crying all day. she looks very fussy but as i understood she will remain like that for a week or so. How do i know if the foot in the right position or not. I am too scared that she would have sores in her leg. I look from the holes in the sandals the healthy leg is fine but the clubfoot leg is not lying 100% in the sandals like the left one. she is a little bit upward when u look from the hole but karen is not crying. Does that seem ok. Also i need to know from where do i get the right socks . Thanks Heidi & (1/5/04) unilateral right clubfoot
Guest guest
Heidi- Glad to hear you got 's sandals on time. We also had trouble getting 's feet/heels completely flat in her sandals. I like you was very concerned about this and called both and Dr. Ponseti. They both reassured me that her heels would come down in the sandals over time. It did get better after a week or so. Just make sure that the sandals are on tight enough so that when you pull up from her knee her toes don't come into the sandal. (Hope that makes sense.) We were just out to see Dr. Ponseti a few weeks ago and he was very happy with her feet, so the sandals are doing a great job with her feet. Hope this helps to reassure you. You shouldn't have any problems with blisters. I think you asked about socks too. We went to Old Navy and bought the socks with the grippers on the bottom. They have a wide range of colors and they are cotton. Guest guest
I order Rose's Old Navy socks off the internet. The price is the same and the shipping is cheap.
