Guest guest
Go to the Yahoo page that lists all the groups you belong to and there will be a link to go to and have your emails stop bouncing. This happens to me every few months or so, never can figure out why they stop these emails but the ones advertising the little blue pill never stop. Guest guest
You may need to reply on the message boards. For whatever reason, yahoo was going through this phase a while back where if I wanted to reply to an email from the group, it would kick it back, saying I needed to reply my messages to another address. Wierd. If you reply directly on the message board, that won't happen as much. BUT, the message boards are fickle and you should probably save your work before submitting it LOL. Bouncing Emails Yahoo is bouncing my group email. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, do you know what I might have done to cause it? I wondered why the board was so quiet... Guest guest
Judy, what does bouncing mean? On the members list, it says bouncing next to some e-mails. Guest guest
I guess somewhere along the line one of my messages bounced back to Yahoo as undeliverable and so they decided that it was not an active/valid address and stopped all of my group mail. I wondered what was going on since the weekend was so quiet. I've done what they told me to do to fix it, but I'm still not getting posts in my email. It may take a few hours, so I'm still hopeful. Does my ID on the members page say bouncing next to it?... Judy > > Judy, what does bouncing mean? Guest guest
Thanks , I think I've found the problem and I've followed Yahoo's instructions to take me off the bounce list. I have my Yahoo email imported into Outlook Express and I do all of my reading and responding in there without ever logging in to the group. It's so much easier to plough through messages, plus I have set up filters to send email from each group into it's own folder. Thanks for the tip though, I'll monitor it today while I wait for Yahoo to catch up... Judy ___________________________________ You may need to reply on the message boards. Guest guest
Thank you Judy ... I was lost here looking for an UNBOUNCE lol! sue Hey Sue. You probably won't see a stop bouncing link unless you're being bounced LOL. I just went to the group page where you set your email preferences and it was is bold red type that my messages were being bounced. I'm getting them again now. I think it just said 'unbouce' or something like that, but I had to click the link in the email that was then sent out... Judy What LINK — what does the link that stops your emails from bouncing say?
