Guest guest
I'd say 99 is pretty good with a migraine and a foggy head... Would love to see what you do with a 'proper' head E.... I've not done it for a while, the IQ test.... I should give it another shot.. just for the fun of it.... Guest guest
I tested at 129 in high school when I hated tests. Now that I'm an adult (darn it), I tend to take things like this as a lark and have scored as high as 138. On a really bad day, I scored 112. I think it really depends on the particular IQ test. A 99 with the migraines you're having with the brain fog is pretty darned good.topper2@... wrote: I'd say 99 is pretty good with a migraine and a foggy head... Guest guest
IQ tests don't have much to do with learnin' per say.. it is a test to see how your brain works... that's why I started suggesting to use IQ testing here, to see what our brains were doing as our meds optimized. With a headache and the fuzzy/foggy hypo head thing going on.. your synapses weren't at their peak so the basic knowledge that your brain does posses, the functions that it can do, and do well, it can't do cuz it's slowed down... IQ scoring isn't only getting the correct answer, but how long it took you to get the answer, right or wrong.. It reflects how quickly your brain is processing and affects the Intelligence Quotient. I've messed with the IQ testing quite a bit since I started it here. I've seen some fun things.... If I'm short on sleep, tired, I really mess up with the spacial relations tests If I'm feeling anxious/angry/mad about something I mess up on the remembering stuff - short term memory stuff. On a good day I score better, easier, with less work than the rest of the time. My scores don't really vary by a whole lot.. just a few points either way.. but it's the sections themselves where the variance is... I just find it fascinating. ... those is my thoughts anyway... hehehehhe Topper () On Thu, 31 Aug 2006 10:29:59 -0700 (PDT) E Gillespie writes: topper2@... wrote: GEE thanks Topper!!! Guest guest
Ya, what she said! I got the 131 at my very best, and with you being fogged in and STILL getting a 99, I believe you'd blow my doors off by far! There's only 40 pts between us as it is! If I took it now, I'd probly rate " they let you out unsupervised?" Spifftopper2@... wrote: I'd say 99 is pretty good with a migraine and a foggy head... Guest guest
If you guys want, go to tickle.com and they have all sorts of tests there and that's where I found that iq test that I took. I'll forward my email I got from them this week to the group and you all can pick and choose from that. They've got some fun tests, who's your inner rock star, are you a morning person, what dog are you, etc. SpiffJudy wrote: Where is this IQ test? Did I miss a link? Guest guest
I guess they have a test now that takes into account more common sense questions, because you can have a low education, but still be very smart. Like my grampa and dad, grampa made it to 6th grade, dad to 8th but when grampa passed away he was worth some serious money, and dad would have been too if it' hadn't been for the hospital bills. That and they were real go-getters. SpiffE Gillespie wrote: Kathy Kitzcat <kitzcat2001 (AT) yahoo (DOT) com> wrote: I think it really depends on the particular IQ test. .
