Guest guest
Hi, - Welcome to the group. I'm sorry your Friday the 13th lived up to its reputation :-( I can't answer the question about your heat flashes, although I'd guess it's your hormones rebelling. I don't if there's such a thing as good timing for a cancer diagnosis, but if it helps at all, you should be able to be treated and on your way to normal energy by September. As for your precise diagnosis - your doctor's office should be able to send or fax your pathology reports to you without waiting for the doctor to return from vacation. What makes you think that the cancer has spread to your lymph nodes? Often the surgeon can tell if the nearest nodes are affected (or if they're likely to be affected), but I think it's a good idea to ask him/her about a scan in advance, to be sure. I think we'd all agree that it's a good idea to have all affected areas removed at once, if possible. As for hating coming out of anesthesia - I think I know what you mean, but it sure beats the alternative :-) NYC TT 2/99 dx pap/foll; RAI 100 mCi 3/99 & 4/00; clean scan 3/02; current TSH ~.06 (for help in deciphering this, and for other frequently used abbreviations, see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Thyca/message/21248 ) sumoetx wrote: > Hello everyone!
