Guest guest
Have any of you ladies wirh anemia/iron issues ever had bouts of inexplicable cold shivering that feels like descriptions of mountain exposure? It can come on even when other people are warm and the building is warm. I feel I can't be bothered with anything except getting warm again and bury myself under duvets, shaking-shivering a bit until I warm up and feel better. Does anyone recognise this? I heard that anaemia can make people prone to the cold. I have jut been told (my op was in Aug 2003 and I had no transfusion or flooding symptoms) that my blood is low on iron and I need iron tablets. I'm not sure why this didn't come up last year with the handful of blood tests I had then. It comes as no surprise to anyone that knows me as I've always been a washed out pale and cold-prone. I know I'v posted on this before, but now there's a new take on the question and it's still a mystery and a problem for me. Thank you!
