reasons a pediatrician won't write script?

Hi all,

I was wondering what reasons a pediatrician would give when they

refuse to write a perscription for a band/helmet. We have not directly

asked for the perscription yet, but if we do not get assistance from

Children's Hospital then we will go back to the ped and insist.
