Guest guest
Jai, What you were talking about was Frontline. I was actually given it by the vet for Holly and Emma. I put it directly on there skin by the nap of there neck. I was told by the vet it killed all fleas and ticks on Holly within the hour, because of her size. Normally it only takes half an hour and kills them all. It is amazing and Holly is also on antibiotics for the skin rash she has on her back legs and belly. She is still itchy, but not half as bad as she was, and have not seen a flea or tick anywhere thank goodness!!! They are miserable and just thinking about them makes me itchy!!!!!! My house is now so clean, that when you walk in all you smell is cleaning products!!! I actually lit a bunch of candles when my Mom came over last night, so she did not have to smell the Lysol and other cleaners!!! The house is already for Christmas and just waiting for one more gift to arrive for Mom and will be done wrapping!! I am going Monday to mail my sister and brotherinlaws package to Colorado! I also have to go and see an IME on Tuesday in Albany. It is about an hours drive and my Aunt and Mom are going to take me. I hope that this doctor sides with me, so that I will be able to continue to get treatments for my leg and back. I will let you all know when I get the report. Take Care and thanks for the information on the animals I really appreciate it. I hope all is well for you and your family. Take Care and LOL!! My cat is also indoors, but I think she got them, because the neighbors brought them into the house!!! Hi Dawn, I am sorry to hear about Holly. She must have been so uncomfortable. When I had pets that went outside I used a flea medicine that is a liquid that you put right on the back of the neck of the animal. It absorbs into their skin and keeps the fleas away for one month. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. They never even had one flea on them. It is safer than powders, collars and creams that go all over them because by placing it on the back of the neck makes it impossible for them to get it in their mouth. I cant think of the name of it but I am sure your vet would know what it is. Maybe someone on the list knows. That is a great idea about putting the flea collar in the vacuum cleaner! Take care, Love Jai
