Guest guest
Humm.... My friend was just put on ambien cause she's having trouble sleeping because of anxiety. She also has sleep apnea. She says it hits her like a ton of bricks when she takes it. I wonder if that's safe?

Guest guest
Dear Lxity, At least get the Benadryl, it doesn't have the tylenol or acetamenaphen in it that can damage your liver with long term use. Tylenol PM has Benadryl in it also calle diphenhydramine, it's this componet that helps one sleep. Hope this helps, Sincerely, S. Re: Rotating medications? Guest guest
I know my friend just told me that the first time she took ambien, she was going off to her bed, and the floor looked like it was flowing, like the ocean. So, she now just takes half. She says her husband tells her when she takes it, she talks in her sleep a lot.

Guest guest
Isnt that interesting. I was having Hypnagogic hallucinations from the elavil that they were giving me prior to the ambian. Now that I have been back on the tylenol pm I have only had them one time in about six months. I will have them just as I lose conciousness and will get up and turn on the light and fight some off or yell at them; walk towards them and run my hand through them. For me on the elavil they were running in cycles and whatever I was seeing would change and run in cycles as well. I had a sleep study done and they did not find narcolepsy. Have you had a sleep study done? Guest guest
Looks like I will be having a sleep study done sometime here in the near future. My brother had one. He stayed 2 nights. He said it wasn't fun. But, they found he stopped breathing during sleep an astronomical number of times. He's suppose to use some sort of machine now while he sleeps, but can't tolerate it, so he doesn't. Pretty scary, if you ask me!
