Guest guest
Hi, I've posted a few times before, but i usually just tend to read the posts. My son is 10 months old and has BL clubfoot. He is in the DBB for 16 hrs/day now. He had two sets of tenotomies done b/c the first set didn't heal correctly b/c of kicking and moving around during an in-office procedure. The second procedure was done at the hospital and our doc felt very confident about how it healed. Everything seems to be going smoothly with his feet, but I was just curious if anyone out there sent pictures to Dr. Ponseti just to see if their child was on track. Everyday I read so many stories on here that scare me to death. I love this group, but it also makes me question everything about my son's progress. Should I send pictures to Dr. Ponseti just to check? I'm not trying to whine, I'm just really concerned. How do you know if everything's okay? I don't have another appointment with our ortho until September and that will be six months after his last checkup. Is that normal in this stage of the game? Just curious.
