Guest guest
About the degrees. Oshri has over flexibility and our dr. recommended putting the shoes on 50 degrees. That's why we wrote about it to Ponseti. So you know why he would want to reduce the angle? I didn't here about this before. Thanks, Idit, mom to Oshri, 25 August 03. Guest guest
Dr. Ponseti said something about Everett's feet responding better than average, holding their angle..... ??? When I learn more about it from Dr. P I'll pass it along. s. Re: Marilouise - DBB Time- degrees About the degrees. Oshri has over flexibility and our dr. recommended putting the shoes on 50 degrees. Guest guest
Sadie's bar is set @ 40 by DR P. Sadie's feet seem to be flexible at the mid foot and she developed a crease on the outside of both feet when she was set at 70. In our case, the lesser angle held the clubfoot coretion but didn't overflex the midfoot. hopefully that make since:-) > > Everett is at the 70 degrees (10 months old) and Ponseti spoke of > reducing that rotation at our next visit soon... > > s. > > > > > > here is an email we got from Dr. P a few month ago: > > > > " -After three months the child can be out of the brace about 6-8 > > hours a day. > > He should wear it at night and when he naps.
