If there was no lapse between the insurance policies she stand a good chance getting her way. Praying that she gets it. Just take care of yourself with all this going on. A lot depends on you so you will need to take extra care of yourself too. With you being the one to help her now perhaps your relationship with your mom will change. It is said that good does come out of bad. I sure hope that this will happen between you and your mom. She should have peace and calm so why do those ins. people screw around like that. She keeps up with all that stuff and is covered by her work that she has worked for 33 years now. She lives up in Central Ca. so if u get any e-mail from her that is my other sis the one that had the horses when we were kids. she is also an RN. My Mom get along lots better as I have gotten older but like I said she has alzheimer's and I jsut do a little bit here and there for her but she likes the way my sis does things. Dianne is more detailed then I. I am not hurt about it. I have accepted and 54 years now that I am different from D. We call her D the one with the Cancer. My sis n and I are very close so that is neat that she has the support group too now. You all are such a blessing. I was a stage 3 with one lymph node positive. Had surger Sept. 29 to remove the right side of my colon. so Chemo was done to try to make sure there were no lurking cancer cells. So now we do tests every three months. Am trying to get my strength back and get on with life. I hope all goes well for your sister and they can remove all her cancer in surgery. They will have no way of knowing till they do the surgery. I am Praying that it goes well for her. If they come back clean then she would be a stage one or two. If they find that the lymph nodes are cancerous then she will be a stage three. If the cancer has spread to other organs then she would be a stage four. They did not stage me till after I had surgery,. The CT scan will not be able to stage your sister. She did have a tumor removed from the rectum and now they are removing a lymph node to see where this is going. She had her fitting for radiation cancelled for today. The doctor can tell you what stage it is and ask, ask ask them questions. It might be a good idea to write your questions down in a notebood and take that with you so you can remember all you wanted to know.
