Re: my sis, hello all

Well went to the radiologist. Looks like there is a problem in her lymph node

they are going to remove it and biopsy it, to see if there is cancer anywhere

else before the radiation and chemo. she still has to do cat scans also. Not set

for the event yet. Now waiting for this. My sis wants to be thorough before

doing anything else. Next week more surgery. My poor sis

oh! my kitty had her kittens. I thought she was going to have 4 but I came back

where she was having her kittens and there was another baby.So 5 altogether.

They are so pretty now that they are all cleaned up. She is a good Mommy.

Kittens make me so happy. I hope she will want one during this time. they are so

cute and cuddly. But I know I have to get her fixed now there are just too many

kitty's in the world I know, I am selfish I just wanted her to have a litter

before she is fixed.

Our next Dr app't is Mon or tues. so I will let u all know what is going on next

week ok. thanks ya'll for all the info and jsut being there when I want to talk.

HI, Glad they are being so very thorough on your sister. At least you

both will know more and know what needs to be done. They will know

more after surgery. Even with scans and such only surgery and the

biopsy report will give you and your sister the answers. Praying for

Hi Ingird you are so kind to acknowledge all the e-mails. you are so good at it

I want to but sometimes I just don't have the rite words but my heart feels for

everyone the familys the cancer patient. Because all is effected one way or the

other. god will see us through one way or the other. I pray for strenght and

endurance for all who has to face and already involved with all the radiation

and chemo and any other treatments may God heal all of yours and there body.

AMEN.oH HOW i FEEL FOR EVERYONE AND i AM AT THE FRONT DOOR OF THIS JOURNEY WITH

MY SIS. wE ARE FRIGHTENED ON ONE HAND BUT THEN AGAIN MY FEAR TURNS TO FAITH WHEN

Lori, I love cats too. I have nine of them at this time. They are all

fixed. I take in kittns once in a while and just love watching them.

God created them to be so full of life and amusing. My house cats

gave me a lot of support while I recooped from sugery. They layed in

bed with me and gave me comfort. Our pets weather they be dogs, cats

or horses do give us the unconditional love. Enjoy your kittins and

as they get older they will give you plenty to laugh about. God made

Ingrid this is really something. I was telling u how majestic horses are. can u

beleave this? We donot have horses in this neighbor hood we just don't and I

just saw a horse running down the middle of the street that was so strange. Just

had to tell u. I think it was a good sign for me. God's power will prevail. Lori

yrs ago by Glenn and have grown to just lover her to death. She's not a very

loving cat, but when she wants to be petted or loved, she comes to me, for

30 seconds!!! LOL Maybe you can take a photo of your kittens and the mommy

and post it for us??

Lori, When is she having the lymph Node removed? Before or after

chemo starts? Usually they give you a healing time before they start

chemo. Since chemo does slow down the healing process. Are they

starting chemo right after they remove the lymph node? Ingrid

Hi Ingrid, She is getting her surgery Thurs and I just assumed they would start

Chemo Next Mon but It could be in another week or so. I suppose we will find out

wed. or Thurs. I spent time with my grand bay today he will be 2 June 21st. He

helps me be happy he is my heart. I didn't see him last week so if I can see him

once a week at least it helps me put my thoughts in a whole other place.then I

have my granddaughter over now one leaves and another one comes over. But to be

around my grand kids makes me happy. But Life Happens good or bad it is alll

apart of life. Thank for listening to me you are so good about this. I admire

I hope they let her heal some before they start chemo. I had surgery in

Oct and had to wait until Jan for chemo. Doc said I had to be pretty

much all healed up because chemo will inhibit the healing process. I

would ask them about that... I will remember her and you and the family

in my prayers that all goes well and wouldn't it be lovely not to find

I am so happy you finds some enjoyment with the grandchildren. At

least that time gives you some time when you are not so worried. Of

course the worries never go away totally. Hope the results for

surgery are good. I would think they would wait at least six weeks

after surgery to start chemo. That is the normal process. But every

doctor is different. Just that she will need to heal real good before

they do chemo. Chemo slows the healing process down and that could be

I believe that the " standard " , if there is such a thing, is to start chemo

6-8 weeks after surgery. That is the time frame used for all of the studies

on the effectiveness of the chemo drugs, anyway.

Usually they hold off the chemo until you are completely healed from

the surgery. I don't really know why. My chemo was stalled off for a

few months to allow my surgery to heal up first.

oh my gosh I hear so much about Chemo it scares me to see what my sis will go

through. But now they have different things for nausea so that is good then long

time ago. We will find out the next two days what will happen. My sister got her

ins changed rite in the middle of all this now they won't let her have her

proceders done due to a change of ins. Oh My god what is she going to do now.

She said she is going to fight it. She is a fighter that is for sure. Well god

See I am so new to all of this and I actually don't know anything. U all have

the experience and I was just assumming. But we will get answers Wed. and Thurs

about what's what and when they will do whatever. Thank u for all your support.

I need outlets and seem to find them.Thank God for the computer and all of u out

there. I don't leave to much from the house due to my depression but now with my

sis going through all this I won't have time to think of myself. I will be at

her side every day if I have to.Then I will have to visit Mom in her convelesent

home and do her laundry and take her depends to her weekly. So I will be spread

all over the place. between hubby, grandkids, my Mom, my sister, my daughter

and my sons. Wow I am an octopuss. Thanks again for listening. U all put a on my

Do you know the nursing homes do supply depends. It could save you some
