I have a question for anyone taking Zoloft for Fibro. Zoloft seems to be

helping

the Fibro but I have noticed that every morning I am very nauseous and

sometimes

even vomit. This didn't happen until taking Zoloft. I have been on it for

about

3 weeks. Also, I have seem to lost my appetite. Any one else?

Esther,

I really hate knowing that you hurt so much. You know you are becoming a hero

in my book. Everything you go through and you are not angry or mean to the

people that love you. I tell about you alot cause he has days where he

blames everyone that he can't do the things that other kids can do. He gets

so angry and jerky. I understand why but i tell him about you cause you also

have gone through what he has to deal with. I let him know that if you can do

so can he.

I thank you for being you cause you do alot of help where is concerned

even though you don't know it.It came to me that one of the things god has

done is me to meet you here to help jesse accept his illness and not give up

and some days he says he wants to become a dr so that he can make other kids

feel better. He gets upset when ever he sees a little one that is sick or in

pain. he loves babys and is real good with them.

Any way what i am trying to say is that you are great and wonderful and you

have hleped in ways that mean alot to me and will mean alot to jesse.

Thank you so much.

Esther,

When I first started taking Zoloft, they gave me 100mg. It was to much, and

I felt lightheaded, dizzy and nautious. When it was cut down to 50mg, these

feelings went away. How much are you on?

50 mg at bedtime.

Dr. called today and said to discontinue for three days and see if symptoms

clear up. He doesn't feel it's from Zoloft. It also may be because my

Duragesic Patch has just been cut from 50 U/G/H to 25.

We will see.

Thanks a, for responding :)

It may also be the combination of the Zoloft and the patch.

How long are you sitting up now? Is the pain getting better?

You're welcome for responding!

Not doing too well sitting up because of the nauseous feelings. Mom has

been

rolling my head up for about a half hour before getting me in wheelchair.

After

about 45 mins. though my butt hurts and I want to lay down again. The

surgeon

says that this is normal........even though the incision site looks great he

said that

it will take more time for the internal area to heal. Mom thinks I should

stay in

the lounge chair more because then I can control how far to sit.

Not only would a lounge chair give you control over how much to sit up, you

will be able to gradually sit up and maybe avoid as much dizziness. The

nautious feelings may be coming from the dizziness.

Why not try it and see what happens?

I am sure it still hurts like the dickens! Bone surgery takes much longer

to heal than the skin on the outside. As long as it it getting better, that

is all that matters.
