Guest guest
My daughter is on day 5 of wearing her Starband. So far so good really. I'm having some problems getting it on correctly and find myself taking it off and putting it on several times before I get the alignment and fit right. The primary problem is that I get it too far left or right and so that one of her ears is squished and one of the sideburn pieces isn't on the right part of her cheek. Does that make sense? Does anyone have suggestions for getting it right the first time?
Guest guest
The first time I put on my son's helmet in the office, I didn't get it on right either. The therapist said to line up the point on the forehead piece with his nose. But the point, when it's on correctly, doesn't line up with his nose, which is apparently what happens a lot of the time to begin with until they grow into the band a little bit. So I've found that if I line up his ear opening (opposite of the velcro opening) and use that as my guide, it's a lot easier to get on the right way the first time. Hope that helps!
