RE: internet service providers

We've had problems with Freeserve's 24 hr service, too, as have many

other people in this area. It seems to be a problem of not enough

capacity, not the modem.

When they brought out their new 24hr service I called them about

changing from our current evening and w'ends but the woman I spoke to

told me the 24 hr service was unlikely to work here. :-( I'd really

like something cheap during the day because that's when no one else is

home!

Thank you for the responses on this question,much appreciated by my

DH.I think we must have been unlucky with freeserve anytime.They said

it must be our modem!Whatever that means.
