Guest guest
Charity, Thank you VERY much for your efforts in coordinating this. It's a wonderful project. One question, just to clarify, about the footprints. Do you want prints of just the corrected feet? Or both, right and left, from everyone, whether unilateral or not? I can only imagine the amount of work you've done already to get this going.. Many, many thanks, on behalf of all of us, and Claire
Guest guest
, Good question, what do you think? It might be cute to have only corrected feet, then it wouldn't be necessary to put bilateral or R/L unilateral?? Would any other unilateral parents like to comment? Charity and Trenton Re: Precious Little Feet Quilt for Ponseti's 90th B-Day Charity, Thank you VERY much for your efforts in coordinating this. It's a wonderful project. Guest guest
Hi Charity. My name is Tina, I don't think we have met yet. My son Ethan was born March 6, 2004 with bilateral clubfoot. I just wanted to tell you that I think what you are doing is wonderful and we would very much like to participate!! Guest guest
Hi Charity- Speaking as a mom with a unilateral left cf child...I think it would be great to put both feet (if they'll both fit on one square). I think it is neat how the corrected foot looks just like the foot that was non-cf. Heck when I saw DR. P at Colburn's office he grabbed right foot (non-cf) and said it really looks good. I had to inform him that it was the left foot that was clubbed! I think unilateral cases speak alot for the Ponseti Method because with casting alone you can get the cf foot to look just like the normal foot. Just my two cents:) > >Reply-To: nosurgery4clubfoot >To: nosurgery4clubfoot > >Subject: RE: Re: Precious Little Feet Quilt for >Ponseti's 90th B-Day >Date: Thu, 20 May 2004 13:52:51 -0700 > >, > >Good question, what do you think? > >It might be cute to have only corrected feet, then it wouldn't be necessary >to put bilateral or R/L unilateral?? > >Would any other unilateral parents like to comment? > >Charity and Trenton > > Re: Precious Little Feet Quilt for Ponseti's >90th B-Day > > >Charity, > >Thank you VERY much for your efforts in coordinating this. Guest guest
M, The squares will all be 8 x 8 and that's the biggest they can be!! Do you think 's will fit? Charity and Trenton (8-24-00) Re: Precious Little Feet Quilt for Ponseti's 90th B-Day Charity, I agree that this is a wonderful idea. My only question would be how big the quilt squares are going to be? For some of us with the " old timers " , the size of the feet need to be considered. Guest guest
Charity, god bless you! Thank you so much for organizing this! About the prints - how big is each square? Might it be a possibility to have left and right feet printed, side by side, onto the square? In unilateral cases, it might be interesting to see the differences (or lack thereof) between the corrected foot and non-clubfoot. In any case, whatever everyone decides is okay with me! Guest guest
Dear Charity Is the quilt limited to those children that have been treated directly by Dr Ponseti? I am keen to submit my son's footprint and hope I have not missed the submission date. I would appreciate if you could confirm the address and cost.
