Guest guest
I have been faxing info. to our first doctor about the Ponseti method. I know many parents on here have gone back to their first doctor who wasn't using the method to show the doc how the method worked. I have offered to bring Zoe in, but I haven't received a response. Just occurred to me to ask how other people went about contacting their old doctor. Did you just show up or did you make an appointment? My husband is reluctant to have me " use " Zoe in this way...Any thoughts? Thanks in advance. Joanne W.
Guest guest
Hi Joanne- I mailed by snail mail a 3 page letter along with articles to our 1st ortho (who said at the time Ponseti Method was a fad) about our success with Ponseti Method when my son was 6 months old. To my surprise she called me the day she got the letter to let me know that she had converted over to the Ponseti Method and a month before my letter had gone out to Iowa to train with Dr.P! She has still yet to be certified and she apologized for discounting the method earlier. She said she believes in it a 100% and is hoping she will be able to obtain the same success rate Ponseti has. > >Reply-To: nosurgery4clubfoot >To: nosurgery4clubfoot >Subject: Tips for converting non-Ponseti docs? >Date: Thu, 20 May 2004 02:46:46 -0000 > >I have been faxing info. to our first doctor about the Ponseti >method.
