Guest guest
, It is great to be able to be apart of the group again. is doing extremely well. Shortly after his third birthday in January he was able to discontinue wearing his shoes to bed at night. He missed his shoes at first, but quickly adjusted. Now he tells you that he goes to bed without his " night night shoes " with a big grin. I don't know about you, but it has taken ME weeks to adjust to him not needing his shoes. They have been such a huge part of our lives, as you all well know, that I now need to adjust. I do have to share that being told that we could discontinue wearing the shoes was a very emotional moment for me. I was excited, but at the same time full of tears. Now, as I watch my son play, run, jump and kick a ball I smile. These are all the things his first doctor said he would never do. Thank you to Dr. Ponseti and Dr. Colburn because now is a healthy normal active three year old with cute fat flat feet. Which I remind people look just exactly like his Daddy (who didn't have clubfeet). We are another testament to the success of this method. Tonya and San Diego, CA Bilateral Clubfeet Dr. Colburn Welcome back Tonya & All- Here is a note from Tonya- it's great to see you back, Tonya!
