Guest guest
My little one just recieved her band a week ago and we have had a prob with it shifting down covering her eyes, ears and hitting the bridge of her nose. We just had them recut above the eyes and around the ears. Apparently they did some shaving inside as well. The band fits better during the day but my QUESTION IS THIS: Is it common for the band to still shift down there face at night when they sleep. I go to her room several times a night for feedings and reposition the band. Shouldnt it stay still? Will this shifting make a difference in fixing her head shape. By the why she has Plagio...flat on her right side of the head. Thanks for any comments!
Guest guest
Hello, my ds' helmet seemed loose when we first got it, but he has since grown into it. I think most people experience this problem, but it seems like a little too much sliding if the helmet completely covers your dd's eyes. What kind of band does she have? Is there a way that you can take a picture of her sleeping with the band shifted and post it? That way we can tell you if it's normal. Otherwise, I would just make sure that it isn't so loose where it can go over her nose, that just really seems too far down to me. Maybe someone else will chime in and correct me. Sorry I don't have much advice! , mom to Tyson (DOCband) Chicago,IL > > My little one just recieved her band a week ago and we have had a prob > with it shifting down covering her eyes, ears and hitting the bridge > of her nose. Guest guest
Hi, We had the same problem. When my son was banded 3 weeks ago, the band was really loose- covering his eyes, hitting his nose and ear. My son was really uncomfortable and cried most of the night. We went in and had it shaved. He fitted better and he adjusted well after that. After the next adjustment, we faced the same problem. We are going back tomorrow, so will see what the CT tech has to say > > > > My little one just recieved her band a week ago and we have had a > prob > > with it shifting down covering her eyes, ears and hitting the > bridge > > of her nose.
