Guest guest
Hi, Just did a search using lymphadenopathy and there are several hits. From what I understand it is an infection in the lymph nodes and from what you are saying they are now going to investigate as to why they are there. We all get them to a point when we get colds, flu etc: but as with anything there is a range from minor ailments to something that could be serious. They will most likely, after an exam, do a biopsy depending on your endo as to whether it is fine needle or like an out patient thing. I would recommend that you follow up and make sure why you have this condition. Try not to worry and please let us know how you get on. Guest guest
From what I understand the thyroid/lymphnodes/lymphadenpathy can be all related because of the location. They are all located in neck area. I'm learning more w/each Dr.'s visit and researching online as much as possible. Hopefully, I'll get a handle on this soon. Thanks, for your reply. Guest guest
Dear Dawn, How thoughtful of you to take the time research " lymphadenopathy. " You did a great job at that.... Everything you mentioned is accurate and I go in for the biopsy tomorrow. Are you sure you're not a M.D.?(ha) I'm doing my best not to worry by staying busy and taking a mini weekend vacation to try and relax. Hopefully, by next week it will be all good news. Thank-you for your kindness and concern. I'll keep you posted. Sincerely, EmptyNest4 > > > > I do not know what type of disease that is, and is it, in some > way, related > > to thyroid disease?
