Guest guest
I know I am asking a lot but would someone who has gone through or is going through the steps necessary to have an ablation done in Cleveland tell me what you did or are doing? My doctor mentioned it as an option but I did not think it was necessary. These recent episodes of mine have broken the camels back. I will be actively considering it and I want to know the time frames, etc. I understand there is up to a 10 moth wait? I also understand that you do not need be in AFIB for them to do the procedure though it is best if you are. Knowing my uncooperative heart it would be beating like a wrist watch while I was there..just waiting for me to walk out the door and wham...Gene Krupa on the drums. I have great insurance as does my wife..which also covers me. I suspect I have to get preapproval and all that. If my cadiologist is on board then I would guess it is easy. Is it one day for the consult and exam...then another day...months later for the procedure? Are you hospitalized? How long. Did your family stay nearby? How long before you went home? Were you out of work for long? I know it takes a few weeks or months for the effects to kick it...is that the case? Thanks in advance and happy holidays. __________________________________________________
