I take it. I am told it is a great drug if you are in

good cardiac health. No underlying disease. At the

dosage you are taking it is fine. I hear it is scary

at higher doses. Can be pro-arryhtmic. I take 300 mg

a day. I get an extra 50 mg when I have episodes and

it is only approved with great reluctance by my

cardiologist.

Anyone here have experience with Flec dosages about

300 mg a day? I am just shy of 300 pounds. Is

weight a factor in these types of drugs. I know some

weight is important..in some not so. Not sure why the

difference.

Last question. Anyboy use 3 times a day dosing for

their Flec? I take it every 12 hours but I have some

breaktrhoughs of PAC, PVC activity before the 12 hours

are up. I am thinking rather than 150 mg twice a

day...maybe 100 mg 3 times a day would give me better

more stable concentration? Any thoughts?

I take 150 2X per day and weigh 180lbs -- 5'11 "

No extra for AFIB so far.

No idea if 100 3X would help.

Bill,

I take flecainide 150mg twice a day, and weight is 185 lbs. I have

only had two breakthroughs at this dosage. In each instance my cardio

let me take an extra 150mg " bolus " dose. I self-converted in one

instance, and was electro-cardioverted in the other.
