Guest guest
I have always felt the program for nursing mothers is more healthy for everyone. It makes you lose from 1/2 to 1 lbs a week ... the slower you lose the weight, the better chance you have in keeping it off. When I recommend WW, I tell folks to use the program for nursing mothers rather than the regular one. Sue nursing & WW > Hi! > I was hoping someone could help me out. Guest guest
I am nursing and have been on the program for 7 weeks now. My daughter eats some solids and nurses several times a day. My leader started me on the program for nursing mothers. She added in the whole 10 points and said we will watch and see when I start to not lose consistently, not just a week here or there then cut down on points gradually. Like 1 or 2 a week at a time. I have lost every week but one when I didn't eat as much. You can also tell if your milk supply runs low then you are not eating enough. Guest guest
hi, i nursed my kids for a year and i did have to regulate my points as they started eating food and nursing less...i would go on whether you were losing weight or not i think. start out eating the 10 extra points, esp. since you are exercising too...but one thing for sure, i think the first 2 weeks of ww was the hardest. i was always hungry regardless if i was nursing or not. i just figured it was taking my stomach a while to " get it " that i wasn't eating like i had been. good luck!!! heidi 159/132/
