Guest guest
Hi . Oh yes... The shoes are available for purchase. 's company is called MD Orthopaedics, or . initially started making these shoes because Dr. Ponseti kept convincing that he can make better, comfortable shoes than the hard Markell leather boots. took the challenge and got his own funding to make the initial 10 pairs of shoes for the babies. He then had to get out a loan to pay for the shoes because he had not set up any kind of invoicing/billing yet. We finally got the bill in March 1st and we paid him right away. Yes, there is a new aluminum bar that says, " Ponseti " on it. The shoes weigh 10 ounces and sometimes we even forget that Baby Ian actually have the shoes because they are so light. Yes, there is a new aluminum bar that says, " Ponseti " on it. The shoes weigh 10 ounces and sometimes we even forget that Baby Ian actually have the shoes because they are so light. We are very happy that and Dr. Ponseti both work together with the kids on measuring the feets and making the sandals. I am also attaching a picture for you to see. Take care, Lizzy iditwagner iditwagner@...> wrote: Hello Lizzy, Thanks for sharing about the sandals. We just got new Markell shoes for Oshri from Iowa- it was difficult to ship them to Israel, but that is another story. They are better than what we had (at least they are strait), but they are so heavy! And it is not possible to make a hole in the back- as you mentioned. Can you write more details about where to get the sandals? Do you know if Dr. Ponseti approves them? It sounds so much better. Do you have an option to share pictures of them? Thanks Idit, mother to Oshri, 7 month, BL cute clubfeet. Love this forum. > Hi, > Just wanted to say hi to the group and wanted to thank everyone for > such helpful information on this site. Guest guest
Most definitely, the bar comes with the shoes. It is not made of metal and we love it. It brings tears to my eyes when I used to see Baby Ian lifting those heavy metal bars. Take care,Lizzy > > Hi Lizzy- > > > > That is great news. Are these new sandles available for purchase > now???
