If it's Outlook Express or one of the Microsoft based ones, I don't know much about them, as I use a different one (Eudora), but all email clients and even if you type your postings direct here on the web as I do, give an option to " word wrap " . Maybe click on your " help " when you are in the email window and type in " word wrap " and see what comes up :-) Ruthie

Guest guest
Your email client gives you an option ot wrap the words (or lines) which will mean an automatic " carriage return " function as soon as the edge of the typing area window is reached. Pretty please, could anyone who isn't using this function, please do so<< I have no idea if I am doing this or not. How would I know? Where would I go to change it if I was? Guest guest
I'm quoting from a post on another list here: .....This option will be in your settings file, or your prefereces file, which could be under the 'special' menu, the 'tools' menu, the 'edit' menu....sorry, you have to look for it, and it's not in the same place in every email programme. Alternatively, go to 'Help' and find instructions on word wrapping option, which probably means you see a little check box which you check with a click.....
