Guest guest
Hello, Welcome to the site, my name is Charity and I live in Orange County. I would love to share with you my experience. My son was born with bilateral clubfoot treated by Dr. Ponseti himself and is now 3 1/2 years old running around. Please email me off line and I will give you my phone number or I can call you. Congratulations on your pregnancy. I look forward to talking with you. Charity and Trenton (8-24-00) New here-Ponseit Doctor recommendation?? Hello everyone, My husband and I had our 20 week ultrasound recently and discovered that our son will be born with bilateral clubfoot. This was not wholly unexpected as my husband was born with the same. We are not especially worried about it. We are just grateful that this is the only condition we will have to deal with, there are so many worse things out there. Also my husband went on to play many different sports including college basketball (in addition to growing to 6 foot six inches in height!) so as I said we feel like everything is going to be fine. I am a bit paranoid about making sure our son gets the right treatment right off the bat. The Ponseti website does not list any doctors for Orange County, California, where we live. I was hoping to solicit any recommendations for doctors in this area, with whom you have had happy experiences and/or you know to be trained in the Ponseti method? I have emailed Dr. Ponseti as well. Thank you in advance. I look forward to getting to know you all better.
Guest guest
Hi!! I have a daughter that was born with bilateral clubfoot in Nov. 01, and we also live in Southern California. Since you are in Orange County I think you may want to go with: Mubarak, M.D. 3030 Children's Way #410 San Diego, CA 92123-4228 Tel: Fax: We are in the Pomona Area, and have chosen to go with: D. King 18411 Street Suite 302 Tarzana, CA 91356 Tel: Fax: We are very pleased with the treatment that we have recieved so far. We began our initial treatment with Dr. Ponseti himself, as we had family in Iowa anyhow, and it was going to be the same price if we stayed in California and got treatment or went to Iowa. We figured that for follow up treatment we would stay local it was alot easier. Becky is now almost 2 1/2 and you can't tell (without looking very close) that there is anything wrong with her feet. SHe easily keeps up with her 5 1/2 year old brother, climbing, running, and jumping with the best of them Good Luck and Hope this Helps. and > Hello everyone, > > My husband and I had our 20 week ultrasound recently and discovered > that our son will be born with bilateral clubfoot.
