All-

I think it would be a great resource to have a couple of photos of

the correctly fitted (inside edges of heels equal to shoulder width)

FAB held up to the child's shoulders/back as a visual reference for

our new families. Can we get any volunteers with digital cameras to

get a picture of this? I think it would be great to get one photo

showing a younger infant, and one showing an older child.

If the parent consents, I could put the photo on the

http://pages.ivillage.com/ponseti_links site. (child's back, not

face in photo)

and maybe could " spring clean " and find us a few bytes of

space here on this site in the photos or files section?! :)

Any thoughts?!?!?

Hi , I'd be happy to send you a photo. I don't know what you'd

consider 'older'...Owen is about 13½ months now. As soon as he wakes

up from his nap, I'll snap a few photos and then send them off to you.

,

I am not sure if this would be helpful or not. I discovered the

best way to accurately measure the distance between the heels. I

lay the bar on the floor and then lay Grace down ontop of them with

her shoulders flat on the floor. So she is laying with her

shoulders ontop of the bar and the heels of the shoes should touch

on each side of her shoulders. It is so much easier than trying to

hold the shoes up to her back when she is standing or sitting. If

you would like a picture of this method of measuring let me know and

I will be happy to email you one.
