Hi I just relpied to the other mom who's baby got there band today, my

daughter got her today as well...my question is if anyone has had any

pressure problems, don't know if it just the first day thing or

what....on the right side of her forehead where it was bossing, it

gets red whioh I understand, but then the ortho drilled a vent hole in

that same spot and it causes a blister like bubble, it goes away like

the redness does, but I don't know if this is a cause for concern????

Thanks,

Ella 6.5 mos.

I traditionally drill ventilation holes in the Starbands I provide but

only in the regions where the band has a void. Tissue will not protrude

into a ventilation hole where a void is built into the band. Your

orthotist may be able to fill the hole with foam if the location of the

hole is causing irritation.

Thank you very much for your info, I didn't even realize this was an option, I figured once it was drilled that was it.... I will call tom.
