Tik, Darcy had this test when he was little - I think under 12

months? when he was going through the occasional episode of

hypoglycaemia; fortunately his endo " knows " about little kids and

their tendency to become hypo so she insisted on admitting him for

the test, with his blood sugar closely monitored. Apparently it

is " normally " done as an outpatient. His blood sugar dropped down to

2.9mmol/litre (our measurement is different from that in the US -

the " normal " range is 4-8.)
