Guest guest Posted March 17, 2004 Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 Hi everyone-I just wanted to write a quick note regarding a place to stay in IA City whether it be for a checkup or for the bday party. We stayed at the Heartland Inn which is about 1/2 mile from the hospital. I know they have a free shuttle to the hospital and I am pretty sure it can take you other places too. It's not exactly a four star hotel or anything, but it was a very nice place to stay. They have breakfast for the morning, which includes toast, cereal, waffles, donuts, juice , milk, etc, and I know some nights they even have soup and stuff like that to eat. It's all free, which is great. I can't remember the exact rate, but we got the hospital rate and I think it was around $50-$60 for the night. I don't think they have a hot tub, but I know they have a swimming pool. If anyone is interested, the number is .
