Guest guest
Well took my day one of chemo today. Feeling rather tired and sick. Slept some during chemo. That may be because I had to get up at five this morning to make my 7:30 app. Had to get all the critters fed before I left. Had to leave an hour before my son got on the buss. Made sure he was up and had his breakfast out for him to make. He loves making his own breakfast. LOL Have an hour drive for chemo. My husband offered to get the feedings done, but the poor guy is doing overtime at work as well had a side job after work. He leaves at four in the morning and did not get home till almost nine this evening. The man is exhausted. He is doing everything he can so we can try to stay on top of these on- going bills. Was rather difficult to do the critters again on my own after chemo but it had to get done. I have a horse that is going to foal any day now and I begged her not to do this on my chemo days. LOL She is not due till the first of April but she is showing signs of having it earlier. So I check on her constantly too. So wish there was two of me. One who sdid the chemo and the other who was my old self who could do the chores. Yeah, we can all wish. Tomorrow, Weds. I go for day two. Yeah, it is getting more difficult to get myself to go. Was down down about going this morning that it was all I could think about. Well, that proved fatal for my battery. I left it was dark. When I got to the drano pit it was light and sun shining. Of course I drive an older truck and the lights have to be turned off manually. I forgot that and the battery was dead when I got out of chemo. Thankfully a female nurse had jumper cables and helped me out. She would not let me pay her for this. The staff at the drano pit are so wonderful in all respects. So that is my day. Am going to bed and get myself geared for day two. Thanks for listening, Ingrid
