Guest guest
I am 53 y.o. male with ~3 yr diagnosis of lone afib. I've been on toprol and Aspirin with varying degrees of control, but no really bad episodes, though I find my old active lifestyle has been significantly repressed due to afib episodes associated with physical activity. I also have the typical vagal afib episodes associated with digestive disturbance. I'm seeing my cardiologist tomorrow for a routine visit, and am very interested in possible ablation to " get my life back " as I've heard so many say. Has anyone had a similar history or experience with ablation treatment? And if so, by whom? My cardiologist is part of the Emory Clinic in Atlanta. The EP there is Angel Leon, who has a good reputation, though I don't know how many ablations he has performed. Any input would be appreciated.
