Because it doesn't matter how you cut 'em, meatballs are gonna be fattening unless you get 4% lean ground, mix it with some mushrooms and onions, throw in some nonfat/lowfat cracker crumbs, and simmer in a marinara. That wouldn't be so bad. What are some other options... You could cut up lowfat or nonfat hot dogs and simmer them in a low sugar BBQ sauce, or make your own funky sauce. Of course you could do veggies...that's what I would do, and no one but my husband and I would eat them, but at least I'd know I had something healthy to eat. You could do pumpkin spice muffins, easy as cake and they're 2 points a piece. Just mix a can of pumpkin with a spice cake mix or vanilla mix but add some spices (pumpkin pie spice). Bake.
