Guest guest
Is Palo Alto CA? Our was banded 7.5-9.5 months in Phoenix, AZ from Feb.-April. We found a light weight footed sleepr was the right amount of clothing for him. Our son prior to the band was sleeping in the blanket sleepers but when he got the band he got way TOO hot in that. We also kept the house cool...I think we even turned on the A/C. Good luck getting it figured out. Oh one more thing, our son also became a tummy sleeper as soon as he got the band so that might be something to try. > > Hi, > I am new to the group and really appreciate this resource! Guest guest
Lightweight footed sleepers were the right level for us too. The first week or two, it was footless sleepers, but then he adjusted to the band and his feet started getting cold. We keep our house between 69 and 73, depending on time of day. The memory doam (1 " ) did seem to help our son sleep better, although he is still not sleeping as well as he was before. -Pam On 2/17/08, lka_236 <lka_236@...> wrote: Is Palo Alto CA? Guest guest
We went to CIRS in PA too. My daughter wore her band in 2006 from may-oct, so I can't help with the layers. However she was always warmer with it on, so make sure he's at least dressed lighter than usual. My daughter was never a good sleeper and was barely sleeping in her crib when we got the band, got a cold at the same time, and ended up co-sleeping. Almost 2 years later we are wondering when she will be ready for her own bed, but we just moved to India, so I'm giving her some time to adjust to that before we try moving her to her own room :-) Many babies take longer to adjust to sleeping with their band on - sometimes up to 2 weeks, but usually less. Sydney had severe brachy (flat in back) and got very good correction from her starband. Good luck with yours. -christine sydney 2 yrs starband grad > > Hi, > I am new to the group and really appreciate this resource!
