Guest guest
Any one with a teenager have any ideas on getting a child to restart using the FM?? Anyone used the Smart Link? Thanks, in GA - I always love reading your posts. Your Maggie is in 8th grade, mine is in 5th. We moved to a private school last year and Maggie has done well there because many of the accomodations that we had to fight for in public school are just a normal part of her class routine.... I also have an 8th grader (boy) taking Latin this year. The heart of your issue with Latin seems to be partly due to accoustics and partly due to a daughter who won't do what is needed to help herself do what she is capable of doing (completing Latin successfully this year!) This issue could come up in other situations as your school renovates and she will need to make her own accomodation by wearing the FM, moving to the front, and doing whatever she can to get the lessons. Try to draw her into coming up with a solution (that does not involve moving to another class) to enable her to pass Latin with flying colors as she has done in other subjects. Good luck!
