Anyone receive their Star Band at 9 months?

My nephew is getting banded at 9 months. He had seen three peds. and

they did not recomend seeing a specialist, however when they moved to

Pgh. thier new ped. rec. him seeing a specialist.

He will be receiving his band at 9 months. I have twin boys who both

wore a Doc Band at 5 months of age and were out of their bands quickly

d/t rapid head growth at this age.

Does anyone have exp. with 9 month banding? Thanks a bunch!

My son went into a 2nd helmet

at 9 ½ months and he will be in it for a total of 3 – 3 ½ months.  He is

in a Doc Band and we are seeing good results.  In 2 months he went from 14mm of

asymmetry down to 4mm, but he also has brachy so he is still in the helmet for

a while longer.
