The general guideline for those who test positive for Hashimoto's is

to keep the TSH suppressed to under 1, preferable lower. The idea is

to shut off the thyroid and rest it..this is done for two reason's one

if the thyroid is not stimulated it lowers antibody production and it

is believed you are going to end up hypo anyways so medicating and

treating you as hypo now adds a lot more stability.
