Guest guest
My son also has eczema on his body and head. He is going to be fitted with the helmet next Monday. I am worried about his head becoming unbearably itchy with the helmet. I thought it may be good though too as he won't have to wear mittens at nap and night time so he won't scratch his head. Being a vegetarian, I eat a lot of cheese for the calcium & protein as I am also breastfeeding. After reading your post, I've decided to cut out all dairy (as well as nuts) to see if there is any change in his eczema. I am hoping this is the case. We also apply hydrocortisone but I worry about it being a steroid & affecting his health with long-term use. We also apply Eucerin lotion. > > > > Hi there! > > Anyone ever heard of a body rash on the baby due to using the > helmet? > > Or maybe an adverse reaction to the alcohol I use to clean the > helmet? > > > > I'm having a real problem with rash on my son.
