Guest guest
Hi , aw, the Fast Track not the QS. I had not replied to your post on this myself because you posted as the QS Plan, and I did not know what it was, we later got it straightened out, that you were talking Fast Track.. First off I am wondering if the diving into the doughnuts today was hunger or were you desperately craving something really sweet. As you know one of these things and we can absorb the points, but 3 doughnuts can be a killer. Right?? Anyhow, I have a couple of things that helped keep me focused .. For one I believe we need to " think short term " when it comes to taking weight off. It is easier to control what we are doing " now " , instead of always looking at weeks or months down the road.. Secondly do not tease yourself with food. If it is going to be red- light, then don't bother having it around. Try replacing a favorite with another that will satisfy you in the same way but will not send you off into oblivion, because you will be able to handle it.. Keep the foods you love, can handle on hand. Quantity and Quality are a must..If it doesn't satisfy or meet the hunger, it won't work. This is one thing I did have to learn to do.. For instance, I have been using berries lately to help satisfy my sweet tooth, but I also add a little sweetener to them, this way I get the real sweet taste I am looking for..and I am satisfied completely and not finished and still looking for something else.. Thirdly I know I am the only one who can do this for me. A mistake today does not mean you are a quitter. You must re-think your goals and continue on your way. Those 3 doughnuts are not going to get the best of you. Make sure to get your activity in . I find I need to do it everyday, ..it keeps me focused for sure. Think about the success you have had so far, You are the one who accomplished it. Have you thought that maybe the Fast Track is not the thing to do at this time, especially if you are always hungry..I know we all want to lose it NOW, but as long as you do the program and keep within your points, the weight will come down steadly, maybe much slower than you like, but remember you are NOT gaining... Put a before pic up where you can see it everyday.. I am sure that one look in the mirror will say hey, I can do this, look at what I have done already... And lastly, I'm wondering if you need to just plain old eat more food. After all you are allowed more than the fast track gives..It just might cause you to lose more quickly too. Hope some of this rambling makes sense to you and helps a little. One thing I have learned along the way is that getting re-focussed needs to get nipped in the bud right away, Do not put it off.... Best to you...Kallie In Serious-Weight-Watchers , " Crawford " <rscrawford@m...> wrote: > Okay, my wife and I have been doing the Fast Track for about a week now. > Those of you who have not experienced the true joy that is known as Fast Track probably don't know that, while you will lose weight, you will be HUNGRY.
