Why is that the less you weigh the longer you have to work out or increase the intensity?

Because moving more mass takes more calories and moving LESS mass takes LESS

calories. If you weigh over 200, to move 200 lbs around, will burn more

calories than moving say, 150 lbs around.

The APs are based on how many calories you are burning.
