Tammy,

we appreciate your input. We just wanted to clarify - the curtailing

of the posting was not because it was " off-topic " from Plagio.

As you pointed out, when your baby has plagio, it affects every aspect of

life. We as moderators all know that; we too have all had babies with

plagio and they either wore bands or were repoed. The reason it

was asked to be taken off board was that it was travelling further

away from the original intent of the topic AND was in position to go places

where feelings can be hurt. We have all been here for quite some time and

have seen the ebb and flow of discussion here. There are certain

" hot button " issues that can be discussed at boards specifically for

those topics. Here on this Plagio board we want to keep the focus

directly and somewhat indirectly about plagio. Not about breast vs.

bottle or co-sleep vs. crib or Ferber vs. baby wearing, etc. I hope you

understand that. We LOVE healthy discussion - it is what we are all here

for.

I believe that all the issues are important to mothers

of plagio babies. What car seat to buy to stop regression. What

types of beds are best all around for support on the head and body.

(doesnt hurt if they help prevent a terrible condition SIDS) I find these

topics very relivant.

They are what keep me coming back to the boards as a parent

of a graduate from the DOC band. When I look at these topics I am also

able to see new threads and help others who are starting out.

Just plagio measurments and decorating are not the topics

all members are interested in.

Sorry that you do not think these topics are helpful but I

do and am sure the other mothers (many of whom are involved in posting about

car seats, beds, co sleeping do as well. Plagio does not just affect a

childs head, it affects there whole family and mothers are looking to make it

the best fo r them all around. Whether they are in buying beds, traveling

with new carseats, or putting on winter hats etc. I find these posts more

important than the ones on decorating because that is superfical fun stuff, these

other posts really can affect the quality of life for our young children.

I would like to see others responses to this post as well.

Perhaps the moderator will respectfully reconsider.
