Guest guest
> > Yesterday my husband and I took our first drive to see part of our new state of Utah. We went to Arches National Park. There were paths to walk which I could not do for they were steep or slippery or had sandstone which crumbles easily. No, I could not see some of the views others could, but here I was in this wonderful park seeing what I COULD SEE. ------------------ Diane, it sounds like you're taking joy in discovering your new homestate of Utah. Five years ago my husband and I moved to AZ,and we were on the go constantly, enjoying all that this beautiful and diverse state has to offer. One of the main attractions was that we were able to enjoy or passion for hiking year round. We also spent a lot of time hiking in many of the wonderful areas of Utah. Sadly, those days came to an end only two years after we came here, due to frequent falls and loss of balance. I was diagnosed with PLS in August of '03, and have gone from a stumbling, unassisted walk to cane, and now exclusively walker. Still and all, we love AZ and continue to enjoy the scenery...but more from the sidelines. Keep on enjoying, Marlis > > > __________________________________________________ >
