They told us as long as it faded in less than 1 hour on days 3 and 4 to go ahead with the 23 hour schedule. I was also concerned at the end of day 2 but after the 23 hours it was fine.

question about new docband

Hello! My 9 month old son just got his band on Thursday.

Unfortunately now I'm faced w/ the weekend and can't call CT w/ my

question and am hoping someone can help me.

We were doing the 3-4 hour skin checks Thursday and Friday, and a red

spot on his forehead was taking longer than an hour to disappear so

they had us come in today. They took some off but he still had some

redness today. This time it disappeared in less than an hour, but

still it took at least 25 minutes to fade. I forgot to ask them if on

day #3 and #4 if we are supposed to continue these skin checks being

we're still seeing some redness. I doubt his forehead will be red

enough that it wouldn't fade in an hour but I forgot to ask how long

do I do these 3-4 hour checks? Until I don't see red or after day #2

in the band? I don't want him to not wear it every 3- 4 hours as I

have waited a long time for him to be in this band! Also, I feel so

sad how he's sleeping... he looks so un-comfy but he's sleeping

through the night (thank goodness).
