Guest guest
Sharon, You should at least stay on it until you talk with your Doc, you shouldn't go off Mtx, without starting something else, or else you could just get sicker and that's not wroth it either. I hope you call your doc and talk to him about this before you just give it up?? Sharon, my intent was not to scare you, I'm so sorry I did. Please follow up with your doc, please. The risk of cancer is low. OK, I am going to share my philosophy on this: I figure If I get cancer from any of the drugs I am taking for Sarc, then maybe the stronger chemo drugs I would have to take would put this crazy disease into remission, it did for an Aunt of mine, she had Scleraderma (sp) a nasty auto immune drug and did get lymphoma form the drugs she took for her disease, so she went through chemo for the cancer, the cancer is gone, and she feels the best she has felt in 30 years, her disease is under better control, she said it was worth it, and would not hesitate to do it again. So that is how I feel about it, God has a plan, and I just pray about it, and walk the road he gives me. Sharon, I tell you this because I love each and everyone of you here on this site, you are my family that understands all I go through, I can share anything with you. like I sleep till 1130 am today, if I tell my husband, he will say "must be nice, no wonder you never get anything done", he's half joking, half serious, but you all understand about sleeping the whole or half day away, I had been way too busy, and paid for it, but feel so much better now!! Love and blessings, Marla -- May the Lord bless us and keep us! May the Lord let his face shine upon us, and be gracious to us! May the Lord look upon us kindly and give us peace! Amen

Guest guest
I saw my Sarc doctor on Tuesday and I talked to him about this and I told him I have been off of Metho for over 4 months. He increased my Imuran and he is thinking of sending me back to Dr.B. for a second opinion. Guest guest
Sharon, how are you feeling? Are you still showing your cats, or just have pet kitties? My cats are so entertaining, especially late at night. One disadvantage of sleeping in my bed is missing the late night performances on the cat tower in the living room. I slept on the sofa for months when my bed was covered in "stuff." Now I don't have an excuse to sleep in the living room, but I do now & then, mostly for the show.
