I called my doctor to have a name or a list of psych specialised in eating disorders. He was not there but his secretary should call me back next week. Skinny and divorce I am not married, and am alone at the moment, so you will think that I don't have much to say on the subject. From an (almost) external point of view, what I can feel is that as we are getting more and more self confidence the way of life is changing for us also, and not only for our partners. We have been told for years that we have no will (that's why people think we are obese ...), that we can't do things by ourselves, just because we are obese people. That was not true, but we didn't know it. We start to realise it after losing weight. If our partner is not ready to support us or the changement we (including him or her) are going through, then it can lead to a divorce. But there are a lot of changes in a lifetime, and if the couple is not strong enough, the divorce can occur at another time, anyway, and not only because (or thank to) a weight loss. I hope that my meanings make sense in English ... Dear Debi, the lucky one, When I read your story, I realise that you were not always the lucky one ....
