Re: Cranial Tech - Oakbrook Terrace or Glenview

Some of the same ladies work these two locations. It is much easier

to schedule appointments at the Oakbrook location. Of the 3 women, I

have found two of them to be helpful. I think Ginny is the main one

my son sees (even though it says she is a PT), but maybe I am

confused. She's very matter of fact, but she does the job well.

There is a dark haired woman (I think she is Kay) who was most

unhelpful, and then I called the Glenview location and spoke to

Joanne, and she was the most informative and helpful of the three in

answering my questions, though I have never taken my son to see her.

She thought maybe my bad experience with Kay was because she had

never seen my son, and didn't know that it was his first sdjustment

after the initial fitting. I all things have gone very smoothly. The

casting assistant ws great, and the receptionist very easy to deal

with.

Hi Elaine,

My son currently goes to the Oakbrook Terrace location. (I assume this

will be slightly closer for you coming from St. Louis as the Glenview

location is another hour north of the Oakbrook Terrace location).

Kay is very good, she works in both offices, and Ginny is very good at

the Oak Brook Terrace location. I'm confident you will be happy with

either one of them. But if you are still on the fence about making the

drive to Cranial Technologies, they do offer a free consultation.

Maybe it would help to come to the free consultation and hear them out

and see if it seems worth the drive. So far I've been happy with my

son's results. Let me known if you have any more questions.

I did travel to Oakbrook for a consultation last week. I met with

Ginny and she seemed very informative but was confused because she is

a PT. I was unsure if she would be making the adjustments since she

is not an orthoticist. I just looked up the meaning OTR/L and it

means Occupational Therapist Registered and Licensed. Are these

people also orthoticist? I am going to call Cranial Tech to get more

answers. Thank you all for the referrals.

I'm not sure, Cranial Technologies might have different titles than

the Starband people but Ginny is qualified to make adjustments, my son

has seen her several times for his adjustments. Any one of the four

( Kay, Ginny, JoAnne, and T.J.) are qualified to make adjustments.

I know Cranial Tech employees go through their own training through

the company.
