Guest guest Posted January 3, 2007 Report Share Posted January 3, 2007 We've just started taking my son to an osteopath too (I think they're like chiropractors), but I've never heard of hanging them upside down as therapy. Maybe someone else can chime in on that one. I have heard of hanging them upside down to see the tilt, since he never had much of one when he was upright. When I first did that (a few months after I started stretching) he actually tilts the OHTER direction because I wasn't stretching the opposite side. Since then I've thrown in a few minutes of tilt stretches to the left as well as the usual ones to the right, but I must admit that when I'm pressed for time or really tired I skip those ones...
