Guest guest Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 Hi everyone, I was wondering if it is normal for s helmet to be pretty loose still? He has been in it since March 4th, and it slides forward and back on his forhead. When he is lying in my arms, I can see a big gap between the top of his helmet and his head, and some on the side. If I move his helmet back off his forhead a little, the gap gets smaller. I just dont see how it can restrict growth if its loose and moves around (not side to side, just forward towards eyes and back)... Any thoughts? Pat from Orthotics at Childrens didnt seem to think it was an issue last week. He gets checked again Monday. Im not sure what they can do if its loose and not supposed to be.
