Misty,

I hope everything works out with your daughters pelvis/hips/legs. When I was a baby, I had legs that turned completely in and my mom had to have me in toe to him casts, then I had to wear special shoes until I was 5. Now I am fine, I played sports my whole life, even in college. That was nearly 29 years ago so I'm sure they have tons of things that can help your daughter now that they didn't have then. I understand why you are scared though. The one thing I've learned being a new mom is that you never stop worrying about the well being of your child. It's because we love them sooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!! You are a good mom for worrying but I'm sure that they will figure out a way to make it right.

Glad the scanning went well. The band/helmet isn't that bad. After a few days you won't even notice it.

Sybil

ok we went to LeBonheur today we left the house a 6:30am got the about 9:00am and we got back there(its beautiful) sat and waited for about 5 minutes went back they gave her toys to play with some sugar water to dip her passy in and she was wonderful the positioned her head and she got to lay on this feather like matress for the scan to be done indtead of a traditional metal table, they were SO NICE. i loved them, she was so good though, they said if she didnt get it done with her being perfectly still in 3 takes that theyd have to sedate her, i was scared but they got it on the first take. she was awsome for it to be 9 in the morning and hadnt ate since 12:00am that morning, i was expecting much worse, but it was all great, took about 15 minutes and it was over we were on our way home, now my dr. submits that to the insurance(its required for my insurance to get the helmet) and well go from

there! We went monday for her hip ultrasound and they said it was normal(YEA!!!) but they think why 1 leg is shorter, is cause her pelvis is tilted! im freaking out. i dont know what were going to do now. the specialist said we donrtknow for sure yet, my pediatrician said she was going to call me today to let me know, cause she wanted to call the specialist and talk to him to see where to go from here, cause we already had a x-ray and the bones in her legs looked normal length so i dont know im kinda afraid, i dont want her to have to feel different cause of a limp or anything, i just want her to feel normal, i mean all the stares are going to be one thing from the helmet but i dont want her growning up thinking bad about her self. well theres the update!misty__________________________________________________
